Synopsis[]
While waiting for the ultimate slow-cooked ribs, James and Max meet a girl named Echo who claims she's from a future with no processed foods.[1]
Plot[]
James and Max are waiting in line to eat the famous "slow-cooked ribs" that are claimed to be the best ribs in history. They are in the front of the line and James goes on to talk about how much he hates line cutters. While in the middle of talking about that, Echo appears and "cuts" in front of James, much to his dismay. Echo disagrees with James and says that her time portal bought her to the front of the line. Echo also states that she has a mission and no one can stop her. James alerts Roxanne about Echo and instead of her going to the back of the line, her, , as well as, James and Max go to the back of the line for disturbing the peace.

James blames Echo for the mishap and Echo blames James for sabotaging her mission. Echo then explains to James and Max that she lives in a future where there is no processed food and everybody has to make food from scratch. Max feels upset by this. Echo came back to the past to find which food to eat but blames James for ruining the mission. James doesn't believe Echo's story but Max does and insists on knowing more about the future.
Echo introduces herself and Birdie (mechanical bird in Echo's bow). Echo explains that food is awful in 300 years so she came back in time to try the best ribs in history, James still goes on about how Echo cut the line because she wanted to try the ribs first,
James and Max (who's devastated because he can't talk to James due to the "promise" he made at the beginning of the episode) try to "reinsert" themselves in their appropriate spot. The old grandma rats James out and Roxanne kicks him out to the back of the line. Echo explains a way to get their spots back by playing rock paper scissors when Roxanne, Despite James disagreeing, he challenged Roxanne anyways and loses because the only move Roxanne can do is rock. James explains what he thought would happen and STILL blames Echo. Echo says that the chefs making the slow-cooked ribs are aliens. Max gets scared but James stops Echo, until they start fighting over Max. Max decides to take matters into his own hands and find out who's right.
James and Echo follow Max inside the food stand. James then thinks about how he's no better than line cutters but brushes it off. James, Max and Echo meet the British chef and him and the additional chefs reveal themselves to be hungry monsters. James and Max are screaming for their lives while Echo eats the ribs. Echo says that James and Max will die if he doesn't admit that Echo is right, which he declines. Echo shrugs it off until James admits that she was right, Echo uses lasers from her head to fire at the monsters and they ascend back to their UFO and fly away. James and Max are thankful that they're not dead. Echo continues eating. Max tells everybody to start eating.. until Roxanne catches them. James challenges her to another round of rock paper scissors to let them eat, but loses again and gets kicked out again, ending the episode.

Trivia[]
- The notoriously angry chef in the episode is a reference to popular chef, Gordon Ramsay.
- Dumas is a censored version of the word, '
dumbass', which is why Echo made up that name as 'dumbass' is redacted. This could also have been done to keep the TV rating of the episode to not be against younger audiences - This marks the first episode where echo appears. Mostly becoming james's enemy for cutting the line
Errors[]
- Roxxane cannot play rock paper scissor's. They are only a rock besides. This could have been due to the fact that the actors wanted to animate it to look like it was alive
- Professor Dumas doesn't appear in the episode. This could have been a mention from Echo
